Job description

Our story

Space is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. Thousands of satellites launch every year, and the market behind them is booming — with Poland right in the middle of it, home to a fast-rising space sector.

Liftero is at the heart of this trend. We build propulsion systems for the thousands of spacecraft coming to orbit, with the ambition to become the global leader in satellite propulsion — the transport layer of the space economy. Our goal is clear: deploy 1,000 propulsion systems in space.

Our core product is BOOSTER, a non-toxic chemical propulsion system built from first principles for the NewSpace era. It has already been validated in space.

As a fast-scaling company, we combine agility with long-term ambition to serve the booming small-satellite market. Joining now means a front-row seat to space technology and real ownership over what we build.

Position Overview

We are hiring a Labor Law Specialist to enhance our HR administration and maintain high operational standards across the company.

You will act as a trusted in-house expert, advising our organization on compliance matters and ensuring our practices are well-structured and supportive. Your day-to-day focus will involve managing full personnel documentation, processing contract updates, maintaining HR systems, settling business travel expenses, and partnering on payroll workflows to provide reliable support to all employees.

Your Daily Impact
  • Document Management & Contracts: Maintaining accurate personnel files, as well as issuing, and coordinating all employment contracts and amendments.
  • Employee Helpdesk & Advisory: Serving as the main point of contact for day-to-day employee inquiries regarding labor law, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Systems Administration: Administering HR systems, entering data, and maintaining ongoing employee databases.
  • Travel & Expense Settlement: Coordinating, verifying, and settling internal and external business trips.
  • Payroll: Partnering closely with our external accounting office for accurate payroll processing and data exchange.
  • Time Off & Attendance Tracking: Monitoring working hours, verifying leave requests, and keeping current leave balances updated in the system.
  • OHS & Medical Checks: Managing occupational health referrals, archiving medical certificates, and keeping track of mandatory health and safety training.
  • GDPR Compliance: Overseeing data privacy standards in HR processes, ensuring full GDPR compliance across all employee documentation, records, and access rights.
  • Benefits Management: Overseeing the day-to-day administration of non-financial benefits, managing employee enrollments/cancellations.
  • Supporting the P&C team in the ongoing operation of recruitment processes
Is This You?
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in an independent HR administration or core HR role.
  • You hold a university degree, preferably in HR, Law, Administration, or a related field.
  • You possess expert knowledge of Polish Labor Law, including current remote work regulations and legal updates.
  • You speak fluent English (C1 level), allowing you to communicate effortlessly in a professional environment.
  • You are highly autonomous and detail-oriented, making flawless documentation and compliance your personal standard.
  • You demonstrate high proactivity and initiative - you readily identify areas for improvement, propose practical solutions, and execute them without needing fixed procedures.
You Can Score Extra Points If
  • You have prior experience in a publicly listed company, understanding its specific reporting and compliance standards.
Perks & Advantages
  • Stable employment: Employment contract (UoP) + opportunity to participate in the stock option program.
  • Private healthcare: Medical package for your health.
  • Multisport card: Access to sports and fitness facilities.
  • Development budget: Funding for courses, training, and professional certifications.

You will work in an on-site or hybrid model with a defined mandatory presence in the office (located in Kraków).
