Liftero in Kraków is building propulsion systems for space exploration. You will visually and technically inspect incoming components, manage daily warehouse operations, and handle external processing for welding, coating, or testing. You’ll prep parts for final assembly and support 5S and tool organization on the shop floor.
Join a scaling space-tech company with a direct impact on hardware used in orbit. Requires 2+ years in QC/QA or technical warehousing, reading drawings, and fluent English.
The space sector is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. Thousands of satellites are launched into orbit each year, and the market driving them is experiencing a real boom – with Poland actively participating as a dynamically growing technology hub.
Liftero is right at the center of this transformation. We build propulsion systems for thousands of spacecraft, striving to become a global leader in satellite propulsion – the transport backbone of the space economy. Our goal is clear: to put 1,000 propulsion systems into orbit.
Our flagship product is BOOSTER – a non-toxic, chemical propulsion system designed from scratch for the NewSpace era, which has already successfully been validated in space.
As a scaling company, we combine agility with a long-term vision. Joining us at this stage guarantees a direct impact on the development of space technologies and real co-creation of our products.
At Liftero, we fly things!
Under our Quality Assurance umbrella, you will visually and technically inspect incoming components and in-house parts, while running daily warehouse operations and stock movements. You’ll manage external processing by packing and shipping parts for welding, coating, or testing, and handle all incoming courier packages. You will also get components fully ready for final assembly - including marking, washing, and cleanliness testing - jump in to support assembly and pressure tests, and keep our shop floor sharp through strict 5S and tool organization.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming components and internally manufactured parts to ensure strict compliance with quality standards.
Warehouse Management: Oversee daily inventory flows, including receiving stock and coordinating internal material distribution.
Outsourced Production Operations: Pack and dispatch components to external suppliers for specialized processing (welding, coating, and testing).
Courier Deliveries & Administration: Handle incoming shipments and manage internal tracking and logistics.
Pre-Assembly Component Preparation: Prepare parts for final assembly, including marking, washing, drying, and cleanliness testing.
Production Support: Assist with hands-on manufacturing tasks, including mechanical assembly and pressure testing.
5S & Tool Organization: Maintain order across all work areas, managing tools and actively enforcing 5S standards.
What we are looking for:
Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) or in a technical/warehouse department within a manufacturing company (metal, machinery, or precision industry).
Technical Literacy: Ability to accurately read technical drawings (dimensions, tolerances, symbols) and comfortably use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
5S Knowledge: Experience working according to 5S standards and maintaining a well-organized workstation.
Warehouse Systems Management: Proficiency in ERP / WMS systems regarding goods receipt, dispatch, and inter-warehouse transfers.
Workshop Expertise: Solid experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or workshop environment with a strong focus on the safe use of hand and power tools.
Quality Assurance: Ability to perform component verification against technical documentation.
English: Proficient level (able to smoothly read and understand technical documentation, instructions, and procedures).
Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, highly accountable, independent, and initiative-driven.
Hands-on experience building stuff that actually flies to space: you'll build, test, and machine real physical hardware that actually launches into orbit and directly see the results of your work in the workshop every day.
Stable Employment: Full-time employment contract + eligibility for the Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP).
MultiSport Card: Access to sports and fitness facilities.
Training Budget: Funding for professional courses, training, and certifications.
Working at Liftero is meaningful, fast-paced, and human. We respect your time and life outside of work - if you perform best at flexible hours, we trust you to manage your schedule within safe and healthy limits.
The work is demanding, but that's where the growth is - and you'll see the direct impact of what you build.
We run our own project management framework, refined over years of iteration, designed to keep us moving fast while giving everyone real influence over the work.
At the end of the day, you can look up and say: 'the systems I work on are up there, in space.'
