Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is hiring a HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities, ensuring a high-quality employee and manager experience.

The role involves executing lifecycle transactions, addressing HR queries, and maintaining records in HR systems while driving process improvements and collaboration across HR and business stakeholders. Senior level adds handling complex cases and mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services or a generalist HR role
• Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes, including hires, job changes, transfers, leaves and exits
• Experience working with HR systems and case management platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, SuccessFactors or similar tools
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage employee and manager inquiries in a professional and customer-focused manner

Responsibilities

• Executing employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, job changes, leaves of absence, transfers and exits, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in HR systems.
• Handling employee and manager queries related to HR processes, policies and systems, resolving issues independently or escalating as appropriate.
• Working with HR systems and case management tools such as Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, SuccessFactors or similar platforms to maintain and update employee records.
• Maintaining HR documentation, templates, knowledge articles and case records in line with process, compliance and audit requirements.
• Identifying recurring issues and supporting continuous improvements to HR processes, employee self-service content and service quality.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across HR and the business to ensure efficient service delivery.
• At Senior level, you will also support more complex employee cases, interpret non-standard scenarios, coordinate with stakeholders across functions and provide guidance to less experienced team members on processes, systems and case handling.

The opportunity

As an HR Generalist, you will support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities, ensuring a high-quality employee and manager experience.

Your key responsibilities

• Executing employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, job changes, leaves of absence, transfers and exits, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in HR systems.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Ideally, you'll also have

• Experience working in a global organization or shared services environment.


• Knowledge of HR policies, compliance requirements and HR service delivery practices.


• Experience contributing to process improvement, knowledge management or employee self-service initiatives.
