Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. in Warsaw is seeking a Head of Procurement to shape and implement procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with internal policies and Group standards.

You will lead a procurement team, drive cost optimization, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with stakeholders across the Group. Fluency in English and a master’s degree are required; experience in IT procurement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Logistics, or Management.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in leading small teams.
• Excellent English language skills (C1).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and lead the daily activities of the procurement team, ensuring compliance with policies and group requirements.
• Supervise supplier relationships, contracting, and new supplier development.
• Support implementation of procurement strategies to meet operational goals.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services with quality.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Drive transparency, efficiency, and standardization of procurement processes.

About the role

As the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, supporting business objectives, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and Group standards.

How you will get the job done

• monitoring and managing the daily activities and performance of the procurement team, while ensuring compliance with local regulations, internal policies, and group requirements
• supervising the company’s contractual commitments and relationships with third-party suppliers, acquiring and developing new supplier relationships to support business needs
• supporting the implementation of procurement strategies to achieve operational and business goals
• ensuring timely delivery of goods and services in the expected quality and quantity
• negotiating prices, commercial terms, and contracts with the suppliers
• driving transparency, efficiency, optimization, and standardization of procurement processes in line with local and Group requirements
• cooperating closely with key stakeholders across the company and the Group
• managing and controlling the departmental budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with business objectives

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in English (C1)
• Master’s degree in Economics, Logistics, or Management
• at least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the IT industry
• good knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., Coupa) and hands‑on experience with their implementation within an organization
• strong project management and prioritization skills
• highly developed negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• proactive approach to achieving business objectives and delivering results
• high level of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering outcomes
• collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships across functions
• experience in leading and managing small teams
