Job summary

your Jared is seeking a Head of People to own all people-related activities—from recruiting and HR operations to team development and policy design. You will lead a small team, drive around 50 hires per year, and work directly with founders to shape growth.

The role is fully remote with Warsaw office options; you’ll report to the CEO and build scalable compensation systems, manage complex conversations, and lead strategic HR initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior HR/People roles with at least 2 years leading a team.
• Hands-on recruitment experience at scale in software/services.
• Solid knowledge of Polish labor law and B2B/UoP/UZ contracts.
• Experience building HR systems (compensation frameworks, performance reviews, onboarding).
• Commercial awareness; can discuss headcount vs pipeline with CEO.
• Data-driven with metrics and reporting skills.
• English at C1+; written and spoken.
• Direct, honest communication; ownership.
• Ability to switch between strategy and execution.
• Initiative to fix processes and write missing policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the People team: manage two recruiters and an office manager, coach and develop their skills.
• Own full recruitment cycle: plan hiring linked to sales pipeline, ~50 hires/year across roles.
• Design and optimize recruitment processes; train hiring managers; manage agencies and outsourcing partners.
• Run onboarding, workshadowing, and offboarding programs.
• Partner with team leads on quarterly performance reviews and development plans.
• Advise C-level on hiring decisions, compensation structures, and org design.
• Own HR operations: contracts, leaves, overtime, invoices, compensation reports.
• Build and maintain all people policies: leave, remote work, bonuses, benefits.
• Manage vendor relationships: Saltus, legal counsel, payroll, training providers.
• Drive HR reporting: metrics and leadership recommendations.
• Lead people initiatives: wellbeing, mentoring, feedback frameworks.
• Handle ISO audits and labor inspections; tool access management.
• Use AI tools as part of daily workflow.
