People Data Labs is seeking a Manager of IT and Security to lead the IT & Security Team, drive project roadmaps, and ensure audit-ready security and compliance in a fully remote environment.

You will partner with product and engineering, manage vendor relationships, and maintain access control, disaster recovery, and security tooling to keep colleagues safe and productive.

This role emphasizes process automation, scalable systems, and clear communication to support a thriving remote workforce.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing an IT, Security, or Technical Operations team.
• 3+ years in a fully remote environment.
• Experience managing IT project roadmaps and vendor relationships.
• Experience with enterprise identity and access management and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience with data via multiple delivery methods and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Manage the IT & Security Team.
• Oversee project roadmaps, helpdesk workflows, and cross-functional migrations and security enhancements.
• Maintain audit-ready security and compliance processes and protocols.
• Partner with product and engineering on security initiatives and clear project plans.
• Oversee authentication stance, access management standards, and disaster recovery for critical systems.
• Facilitate vendor relationships, evaluations, and renewals to manage tools spend.
