Job summary

Stateside is a minority-owned, California-based digital agency delivering remote project management across Technology Operations, Cybersecurity, and communications. You will define scopes, manage lifecycles, and optimize team workflows while collaborating with the Technology Director on process improvements.

The role requires 3+ years of IT project management experience, familiarity with PMI methods, and hands-on use of Asana/Jira/MS Project with BI reporting (Tableau/Power BI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience handling IT projects.
• Strong understanding of PMI principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Asana, Jira, and MS Project.
• Experience with reporting BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• PMP/ITIL or similar certifications are highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with software development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define project scopes and roadmaps by gathering stakeholder requirements and aligning with growth objectives.
• Manage the project lifecycle from initiation to closure with thorough documentation.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth execution.
• Lead multiple projects across a broad portfolio and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Conduct post-mortem evaluations and implement improvements.
• Provide team leadership and optimize workflows for efficient task assignment.
• Guide teams on standard project management practices and facilitate meetings.
• Develop and improve processes with the Technology Director and IT teams.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
