Job summary

Tenchijin Inc. is seeking a Senior Security & Compliance Architect for a fixed-term, fully remote engagement to design and enforce the security and compliance backbone of a platform handling critical national infrastructure data across jurisdictions.

You will implement automated controls, SOC 2, GDPR, APPI readiness, and work with engineers to ensure secure SDLC, risk assessments, and incident response across Global South markets.

Qualifications

• Experience designing security architectures for multi-tenant platforms and critical infrastructure data.
• Proven ability to implement compliance automation and policy-as-code.
• Knowledge of SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, APPI and regional data-protection laws.
• Ability to collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to enforce secure development practices.

Responsibilities

• Define the platform-wide security architecture (IAM, encryption, secrets, network segmentation).
• Design and implement compliance automation and evidence collection.
• Perform threat modeling for multi-tenant and data pipelines.
• Establish secure SDLC practices including SAST/DAST and CI/CD gates.
• Lead vendor and data-processing risk assessments and DPAs.
• Define incident response, forensics, and breach-notification procedures.
