Job summary

Paired is seeking a seasoned finance leader to own the books across a multi-entity portfolio, including US and international entities. You will direct the accounting assistant, manage payouts, and build dashboards to reveal cash, revenue and margins by entity.

This role focuses on scalable finance setup from day one and continuous improvement across the portfolio. You will work fully remote with a focus on accurate reporting, cash flow forecasting, and strategic insights to guide growth for

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in accounting or finance, ideally multi-entity experience.
• Expert in QuickBooks Online: classes, multiple entities and consolidated reporting.
• Comfortable across US and international entities and currencies; US tax knowledge is a plus.
• AI-native: use AI to build models, dashboards and workflows while keeping data safe.
• Available during core hours with strong async communication.
• References from founders or owners whose books you've run are a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the books for every entity in QuickBooks Online; reconcile monthly.
• Direct accounting assistant on categorization, receipts, invoices and reconciliations.
• Run payouts for contractors, partners and distributions with accuracy.
• Track ownership splits and distributions so partners know what theyre owed.
• Build dashboards showing cash, revenue, costs and margins by entity.
• Build cash flow projections and forecasts for portfolio decisions.
• Provide monthly business read on growth, leaks and recommended actions.
• Review costs, subscriptions and vendor spend; optimize them.
• Set up finance for new companies from day one: bank accounts and files.

About our client:

Ecom Business (ecombusiness.com) is a portfolio of ecommerce companies doing multi-eight figures a year across US and international entities.We're the founders behind Evolve and Origins, the #2 & #11 communities on all of Skool (we consult over 2,500 brands). We're building ecomuniversity.com, an education platform teaching ecommerce skills at the highest level that has already trained over 1,000+ editors. We run ecombounty.com, where trained editors create ads for brands through performance. And we're getting ready to launch our first direct to consumer brand. Every company we launch adds more entities, bank accounts, partners and payouts. And our finance function hasn't kept up.

Responsibilities

• Own the books for every entity, US and international, in QuickBooks Online. Clean entity and class structure, reconciled every month.
• Direct our accounting assistant on categorization, receipts, invoices and reconciliations, and QA their work.
• Run payouts with our accounting assistant for the whole team: contractors, partners and distributions. Right person, right amount, right time, documented.
• Track ownership splits and distributions so every partner knows exactly what they're owed and why.
• Build dashboards showing cash, revenue, costs and margins by entity and across the portfolio.
• Build projections and cash flow forecasts so we make decisions before problems show up.
• Bring the partners a monthly read on the business: what's growing, what's leaking and what to do about it.
• Review costs, subscriptions and vendor spend, and work with the team to optimize them.
• Set up finance for every new company from day one: bank accounts, QuickBooks file and structure.

Requirements

• 2 to 3+ years in accounting or finance, ideally owning the books for a multi-entity business at eight figures or more
• Expert in QuickBooks Online: classes, multiple entities and consolidated reporting
• Comfortable across US and international entities and currencies. US tax knowledge is a plus, not a requirement.
• Ecom experience is a bonus, not a requirement. It helps you understand Shopify payouts, Stripe, ad spend and contractor payments faster.
• CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent strongly preferred
• AI-native. You use AI to build models, dashboards and workflows faster, and you know what never gets uploaded. Our financial data stays private.
• Available during our core hours, with strong async communication
• References from founders or owners whose books you've run are a big plus
