Job summary

Iptor is seeking a seasoned Head of Accounting to lead the global accounting function, spanning Tax, Treasury, AR, AP, GL, and Financial Reporting. You will own the integrity of the general ledger, drive faster month- and year-end closes, and shape scalable, automated finance processes across entities.

You will report to the CFO and partner with auditors, legal, and internal stakeholders to simplify and modernise the finance function while maintaining strong controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with a recognised qualification (CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Substantial post-qualification experience in senior accounting/finance leadership.
• Experience leading a multi-disciplinary accounting function across Tax, Treasury, AR, AP, GL, and Financial Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead group-wide accounting across Tax, Treasury, AR, AP, GL, and Financial Reporting.
• Own general ledger integrity and group COA across entities.
• Drive faster, more predictable month/quarter/year-end close.
• Apply group accounting policies and revenue recognition for software/subscriptions.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting and consolidation.
• Oversee statutory accounts and local GAAP filings across entities.
• Lead external audits and ensure a clean audit process.
• Standardise reconciliations, reporting processes, and finance controls.
• Own tax compliance, filings, transfer pricing, and intercompany arrangements.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors.
