Job summary

Adtran Networks sp. z o.o. in Gdynia is seeking a hardware-minded student to join the Optical Transport Infrastructure team as Hardware Engineering Student. You will work alongside our experienced Hardware Engineer on design, development and support of hardware controller modules for telecom systems.

This learning role starts with well-defined tasks under close mentorship and grows with responsibility, building your Hardware Engineering expertise while contributing to real product work at Adtran.

Qualifications

• 3rd-year student in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Automation and Robotics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist hardware engineer with schematic capture and PCB layout guidance.
• Support lab bring-up and debugging with test equipment.
• Help write hardware and integration test cases and report results.
• Research components and assess availability and lifecycle.
• Contribute to hardware design specifications and test docs.
• Support production test procedures with Operations.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, FPGA, Mechanics, Software and Operations.
