Job summary

Adtran, Inc. in Gdynia, Poland, is hiring a Software Engineer (Java) to join the R&D team. You’ll build Java applications on Linux platforms and contribute to network management, data transport, and optical networking solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java knowledge (11/17/21).
• Understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs, distributed applications, Git, and JUnit.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD practices, and software quality processes.
• Comfortable working in a Windows-based corporate environment using Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
