Job summary

Adtran Networks sp. z o.o. in Gdynia is seeking a curious student for a Bootloader Software Engineering role. You will learn hardware/software interactions and grow in embedded software engineering while supporting bootloader development for telecom systems.

The internship offers hands-on lab work, mentoring from senior engineers, and real product exposure in a multinational team with colleagues in Germany and the USA.

Qualifications

• 3rd-year student in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Automation and Robotics or related field.
• Availability: at least 20 hours per week in Gdynia office.
• Good knowledge of C and Linux basics; familiarity with gcc and git.

Responsibilities

• Bootloader development support and debugging for telecom systems.
• Code small features and fixes in C under guidance.
• Lab work: hardware bring-up, flash images, logs, issue reproduction.
• Write and run unit and integration tests.
• NPI support and documentation updates.
