Job summary

Deel is seeking a highly experienced Staff Product Designer, Growth to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our growth-focused products, driving design excellence, and unlocking new levels of user engagement.

You will lead growth design initiatives across projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor other designers to raise the bar on experience, metrics, and adoption.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in product design with at least 2 years as Staff Product Designer.
• Strong UI/UX and visual design skills, including advanced prototyping.
• Growth metrics focus, with experience in onboarding, virality, or pricing pages.

Responsibilities

• Lead Growth Design Initiatives: Define and deliver product design across multiple growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with user needs and growth metrics.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product, engineering, data analysts, and marketers to test and iterate on growth hypotheses.
• Design System Partner: Drive design system strategy and ensure Growth-specific needs are met through motion and transitions.
• Design, Prototype, and Experiment at Speed: Rapidly design, prototype, and test new features using data insights.
• Mentor and Guide: Provide mentorship to Product Designers and develop new design standards.
• Identify and Solve Bottlenecks: Partner with product and engineering to reduce friction in user journeys and processes.
• Drive Clarity from Complexity: Balance user and business needs in ambiguous situations.
• Outstanding Communication and Facilitation: Align teams through compelling design narratives.
