Currently Orbico is looking for:

Group Supply Process Expert

The role will be part of Group Supply Transformation Programme within Orbico Group structure. This role is ideal if you enjoy combining business understanding, technology and want to actively contribute to the improvement of supply operations. You will be working directly with stakeholders from majority of Orbico markets (most of all Bulgaria, Romania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and Poland) as well as with Group functions.

Main objectives:

The role objective of the Group Supply Process Expert is to support the design, standardization, implementation and continuous improvement of end-to-end supply processes across the Group, covering warehouse and transport operations. The role translates business and operational requirements into scalable process and system solutions and supports their successful implementation and adoption across companies and countries. Through process analysis, performance monitoring, stakeholder coordination and functional expertise in applicable supply solutions, the role contributes to improved service, productivity, quality, cost efficiency, safety and process compliance. Depending on business priorities, the role may cover the full supply-process scope or specialize in warehouse and/or transport processes.

Key job duties:

  • Support the design, standardization, documentation, implementation, and continuous improvement of end-to-end supply chain processes covering core supply operations, warehousing, and transportation.
  • Analyse existing processes across Group countries, identify process gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities, and propose practical solutions aligned with Group objectives and recognized supply chain practices.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Group process standards, Standard Operating Procedures, process maps, work instructions, guidelines, control requirements, and other related process documentation.
  • Contribute to the harmonization of supply chain operating models across Group countries while considering differences in business models, customer requirements, product portfolios, operational complexity, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure effective integration and clear definition of process interfaces between demand and supply planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, customer service, sales, finance, and other relevant functions.
  • Review warehouse processes, including inbound planning, receiving, quality and quantity controls, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, loading, returns, inventory counting, stock adjustments, value-added services, and reusable packaging or container management.
  • Review transport processes, including transport planning, load consolidation, carrier allocation, route planning, dispatching, delivery execution, shipment tracking, proof of delivery, freight cost control, claims management, and transport performance monitoring.
  • Support the definition of business requirements for supply chain systems and digital solutions, including ERP, WMS, TMS, planning applications, reporting solutions, and their relevant integrations.
  • Translate operational requirements into clear process and functional requirements and collaborate with local Supply teams, Group functions, IT, external solution providers, and other stakeholders during solution design and implementation.
  • Review proposed system and process solutions to verify their alignment with approved business requirements, Group process standards, internal controls, and expected operational outcomes.
  • Support solution verification, user acceptance, pilot activities, rollout preparation, issue resolution, stabilization, and post-implementation reviews without assuming primary responsibility for the detailed design of test scenarios and scripts or the execution of technical functional testing.
  • Support the definition and harmonization of end-to-end supply chain KPIs across core supply, warehouse, and transport operations, including calculation logic, data sources, reporting frequency, ownership, target-setting principles, and escalation requirements.
  • Monitor process performance and compliance with agreed Group standards, analyse deviations and root causes, and support the definition and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate in process assessments, country reviews, workshops, benchmarking activities, improvement projects, and cross-functional initiatives related to supply chain transformation and operational excellence.
  • Collect, validate, structure, and share process knowledge, operational data, lessons learned, and good practices across Group countries to support consistent implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Support change management and implementation activities by preparing process materials, delivering or coordinating knowledge-transfer sessions, and providing guidance to local process owners and key users.
  • Maintain assigned process documentation and ensure that approved procedures, process maps, requirements, roles, controls, and KPIs remain accurate, consistent, accessible, and up to date.
  • Work closely with Group and local process owners to clarify responsibilities, decision points, handovers, control points, and escalation paths throughout end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Track assigned actions, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and implementation progress and provide clear and timely status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the evaluation of process-improvement initiatives by assessing their operational applicability, expected benefits, implementation requirements, scalability, and alignment with the Group supply chain operating model.
  • Perform other supply process analysis, documentation, standardization, implementation-support, and continuous-improvement activities within the scope of the Group Supply function.

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong process orientation with practical experience in warehouse and logistics environments.
  • Accountability, adaptability, attention to detail, and a structured, systematic approach to work.
