Job summary

Page Executive is seeking a Group Chief Accountant to lead the accounting function across Poland and selected international markets. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management of GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and financial reporting.

You will drive monthly, quarterly and annual closes, ensure compliance with Polish regulations and IFRS, collaborate with external auditors, and build a standardized, high-performance accounting team within a dynamic energy/real estate/infrastructure

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience or senior accounting roles.
• Experience as Chief Accountant, Group Chief Accountant, Head of Accounting or similar.
• Proven experience managing accounting for a group structure with multiple entities.
• Strong knowledge of Polish accounting regulations, IFRS, and tax matters.
• Hands-on experience in preparing standalone and consolidated financial statements.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Experience with Shared Service Centers/SSC or BPO structures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full accounting function for a group of companies in Poland and selected international markets.
• Oversee GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, taxation, payments, and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with Polish regulations, tax requirements and IFRS.
• Provide hands-on support to the team on specialist accounting and tax matters.
• Cooperate with external auditors, tax advisors and other stakeholders.
• Lead development and standardization of accounting processes across the Group.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Tax and Controlling teams.
• Manage and develop the accounting team.
