Job summary

Husqvarna Group is seeking a Chief Accountant in Warsaw to lead statutory accounting, IFRS reporting, and compliance for Polish entities. You will work closely with the Group Finance function to ensure governance, controls and risk management across divisions in a global setting.

The role requires strong accounting expertise, English fluency, and excellent stakeholder management, with a hybrid work model offering 2 days remote per week in Poland.

Qualifications

• Strong background in statutory accounting, IFRS and tax compliance.
• Excellent command of English; Polish is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in international, matrixed environments.
• High attention to detail with business pragmatism.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Act as right-hand to Head of SSC & Country Officer for Polish entities, ensuring local compliance and governance.
• Interface with local statutory bodies while aligning with Group governance.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements per local GAAP/IFRS.
• Serve as primary Poland contact for auditors, tax authorities, banks, insurers and external advisors.
• Coordinate and support local and global projects (KSeF, TP docs, EU Deforestation, CBAM, SAP).
