Job summary

Cytiva, part of Danaher, is seeking a Manager of Software Development to lead a global team within Enterprise Engineering. The role focuses on delivering enterprise solutions with strong governance and compliance, while driving performance metrics and operational stability.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Software Engineering, proven leadership in software teams, and deep knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, testing, and SDLC governance in regulated environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience leading software engineering teams delivering enterprise solutions.
Strong knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, automated testing, SDLC governance, traceability, and audit-ready delivery.
Experience working in regulated environments (GxP/CSV, SOX) and using enterprise development toolchains, source control, and change management processes.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of software engineers delivering business logic, enhancements, and integrations across enterprise platforms while driving engineering standards for code quality, security, testing, and peer reviews.
Enable Agile and CI/CD delivery practices, ensuring quality gates, traceability, version control, documentation, and audit-ready SDLC compliance.
Partner with Architecture, Analysis & Design, Release Management, and Operations teams to deliver scalable, supportable solutions and ensure deployment readiness and operational stability.
Monitor and improve engineering performance through KPIs such as throughput, defect trends, cycle time, and technical debt.
