Job summary

Cytiva in Kraków, part of Danaher, seeks a Director, Data Governance to drive enterprise-wide data governance, quality and security. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to implement policies and standards enabling compliant analytics and reporting.

You will lead data stewardship, manage metadata and master data, and promote adoption of governance tools like Snowflake, Collibra and Alation, ensuring privacy regulations are met and data becomes a trusted business asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in data governance and leadership.
• Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, metadata and master data practices.
• Experience implementing governance in enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-wide data governance framework and standards.
• Partner with business and tech leaders for data quality and metadata.
• Oversee compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and industry regulations.
• Lead data stewardship program and ownership across domains.
• Drive adoption of governance tools and data usage transparency.
