Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher sister company, is seeking an IT Compliance Coordinator to ensure effectiveness and compliance of IT SOX controls across the organization. Based in Kraków and on-site, you will audit, identify risks, and implement controls to safeguard IT infrastructure and support financial reporting integrity.

You will collaborate with IT SOX, ERP, IT Security, IT Infrastructure, and Internal/External Audit teams, including EY SOX audits, to deliver risk-based controls and evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT compliance, IT SOX controls, and auditing IT SOX controls.
• Strong understanding of SOX regulations and IT general controls.
• Experience with IT audit methodologies and practices.
• Proficiency in using GRC applications and audit tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document all IT General Controls related to the SOX program as part of ongoing compliance efforts.
• Work with SOX Project Management to guarantee Best Practices in project documentation, including drafting and editing deliverables as needed.
• Work with IT SOX compliance team to ensure all SOX Project Management deliverables are completed, approved and archived on time and to agreed level of quality.

Job description

The IT Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of IT SOX controls across our organization. This role involves conducting audits, identifying risks, and implementing controls to safeguard our IT infrastructure and support our compliance with SOX regulations. Your contributions will drive significant impact by ensuring the integrity and reliability of our financial reporting systems.

This position reports to the Principal IT Compliance Officer in Denmark and is part of the Global IT Compliance department. This position is located in Kraków at our Danaher sister Company Cytiva and will be an on-site role.

You will be sparring with the Cytiva SOX IT team around best practices.

You will be working together with the ERP team, the IT Security team and the IT infrastructure team as well as rest of the IT organization.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Assess and document all IT General Controls related to the SOX program as part of ongoing compliance efforts
• Work with SOX Project Management to guarantee Best Practices in project documentation, including drafting and editing deliverables as needed.
• Work with IT SOX compliance team to ensure all SOX Project Management deliverables are completed, approved and archived on time and to agreed level of quality.
• Work directly with Internal Audit and External Audit on SOX and IT audit-related activities, including coordination of IT audits, walkthroughs, testing, documentation of findings, issue remediation, follow-up, etc.
• Participate in EY SOX audits three times a year, identifying and gathering documentation and evidence for the auditors

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT compliance, IT SOX controls, and auditing IT SOX controls.
• Strong understanding of SOX regulations and IT general controls.
• Experience with IT audit methodologies and practices.
• Proficiency in using GRC applications and audit tools and software.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Working within a global or multinational organization.
• Project Management
• Familiarity with other regulatory compliance frameworks like NIS2, GDPR or ISO 27001.
