Job summary

ICG in Warsaw seeks an experienced settlements leader for its Liquid Credit operations. This permanent, full-time role oversees end-to-end trade settlement, partnering with third-party providers and internal teams across Europe, the UK, the US, and Australia.

You will lead complex issue resolution, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive automation while mentoring junior staff in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education is required.
• 7+ years in Settlements or Middle Office in Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Loan Agency with focus on Liquid Credit.
• Knowledge of LMA and LSTA documentation and settlement processes.
• Experience supervising third-party providers or outsourced Middle Office models.
• Strong collaboration with trading desks and stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and familiarity with settlement/reconciliation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead settlements for Liquid Credit trades (loans and bonds) with accurate capture, affirmation, and settlement.
• Oversee third-party Middle Office provider performance across trade settlements and loan closings.
• Build relationships with Trading and Operations to ensure smooth information flow.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, market conventions, and regulations.
• Resolve complex settlement issues, breaks, and exceptions with internal and external partners.
• Ensure loan closing/settlement docs meet LMA and LSTA standards.
• Oversee reconciliations of positions, cash, and collateral; investigate discrepancies.
• Manage counterparties, agents, custodians, and service providers to optimize processes.
• Drive process improvements and automation for control and scale.
• Prepare MI, KPIs, and risk metrics for senior stakeholders.
