Job summary

Mars is seeking an experienced Global R2R Fixed Assets Lead to own end-to-end fixed asset operations. You will drive performance, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate with Controllership, Tax, FP&A, and global teams across a dynamic global landscape.

Hybrid work arrangement in Warsaw with a focus on improving controls, supporting monthly closes, and delivering timely financial insights to stakeholders worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• 1-2+ years in a similar role in SSC/BPO.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field.
• Strong background in Record-to-Report (R2R) with Fixed Assets focus.
• Experience in stakeholder management and global matrix organizations.
• Experience in Shared Services models or finance transformation is desirable.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, data analytics, reconciliation, and systems knowledge.
• Excellent communication and collaboration to work with global teams, including USA timezone.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service delivery excellence for Fixed Asset processes and monitor KPIs.
• Serve as SME on CapEx and Fixed Asset transactions.
• Organize monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing timetables for timely results.
• Maintain robust internal controls and identify improvement opportunities.
• Review team work and simplify and standardize processes.
• Partner with Controllership, Tax, FP&A and MGS Finance Leaders to provide insights.
• Act as trusted partner to OE Controllers for financial performance analysis.
• Drive standardization of fixed asset processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with GPO and Global Operations Leader of Fixed Assets on strategic goals.
• Challenge and optimize processes with functional experts for system changes.
