Job summary

Maersk Project Logistics in Gdansk, Poland, seeks a Senior Project Freight Forwarding Manager to lead end-to-end project logistics, overseeing over-dimensional and containerized transports, and coordinating with sales, operations and clients.

You will manage a global team, drive continuous improvement, ensure cost efficiency, and deliver best-in-class service while maintaining stakeholder alignment across international projects. The role offers competitive compensation and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

Experience in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain sales.
Strong understanding of global trade and supply chain operations.
5+ years in over-dimensional transports by sea and/or road.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
Willingness to travel to various execution locations.
Fluent in English and Polish; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate project logistics for a portfolio of client projects.
Design and implement tailor-made logistics solutions with the Operations team.
Oversee execution, documentation, and transport planning for projects.
Collaborate with sales and business development to drive growth.
Coordinate and supervise project delivery and on-ground execution, with potential travel.
Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency for customers and internal teams.
