Job summary

MAN Trucks Sp. z o.o. in Niepołomice near Krakow is seeking a specialist (Mid/Regular) or senior specialist to manage the global assembly structure and ensure production-ready data.

You will coordinate between R&D, design, and production, supporting the transfer into stable series production. Ideal candidates have a technical degree, extensive experience in work and production preparation, and strong analytical and English-language skills.

Qualifications

• University degree with a technical focus or equivalent technical experience.
• Intensive experience in work preparation, production preparation, industrial engineering, or similar technical function.
• Good understanding of assembly processes, preferably in truck or automotive production.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured working style.
• Ability to handle complex technical data with accuracy and consistency.
• Good logical thinking and pattern/dependency recognition.
• Confidence with computer-based work and Windows.
• Openness to digital tools, process improvements, and new working methods.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Experience with assembly software and Power BI is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Creating, maintaining, and delivering the global assembly structure based on R&D data.
• Ensuring part information and production-relevant data are ready for series production.
• Supporting transfer from project phase into stable series production.
• Acting as a link between production, product engineering, development, and other specialist functions.
• Collaborating with international colleagues on interdisciplinary topics.
• Contributing to preparation standards and methods within MAN TRUCK & BUS.
• Analysing technical changes, identifying dependencies, and addressing deviations.
• Supporting process improvements, digitalisation, and preparation-method development.
• Ensuring preparation work is accurate, transparent, and production-ready.

Your responsibilities

• Creating, maintaining, and delivering the global assembly structure based on technical data from R&D and design departments
• Ensuring that part information, assembly logic, and production-relevant data are correctly prepared for series production
• Supporting the transfer from project phase into stable series production
• Acting as a link between production, product engineering, development, and other specialist functions
• Working on interdisciplinary topics together with international colleagues
• Supporting common preparation standards and working methods within TRATON
• Analysing technical changes, identifying dependencies, and reacting to deviations in a structured way
• Contributing to process improvements, digitalisation activities, and the further development of preparation methods
• Ensuring that preparation work is accurate, transparent, and suitable for the needs of production

Our requirements

• A university degree with a technical focus, or equivalent relevant technical experience
• Intensive experience in work preparation, production preparation, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a similar technical function
• Good understanding of assembly processes, preferably in truck, automotive, or comparable industrial production
• Strong analytical skills and a structured working style
• The ability to handle complex technical data with accuracy and consistency
• Good logical thinking and the ability to identify patterns, dependencies, and changes
• Confidence in computer-based work and very good knowledge of Windows applications
• Openness to digital tools, process improvements, and new working methods
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Experience with assembly software, Power BI, or truck product knowledge would be an additional advantage
