Job summary

Oyster is a global employment platform with a remote-first culture, hiring across multiple regions and time zones. This role owns the strategic multi-country payroll vendor network and drives scalable, compliant payroll delivery for customers worldwide.

You will partner with Pay & Payroll, Legal, Finance, and Customer teams to manage vendor performance, governance, and risk, while shaping how Oyster delivers global employment solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years managing multi-country payroll vendors and compliance partners.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processing cycles and GTN calculations.
• Experience owning strategic payroll/vendor relationships in global environments.
• Proven ability to drive governance, KPIs, SLAs, and executive reviews.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME and owner for multi-country payroll vendor partnerships worldwide.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll delivery workflows, cut-off calendars, filings, and controls.
• Monitor SLA compliance, data payload delivery, and cut-off adherence with internal teams.
• Evaluate vendor capacity, readiness, and controls ahead of peak cycles and market expansion.
• Lead partner strategy, governance, scorecards, escalation thresholds, and improvement plans.
• Drive vendor performance, risk assessments, and compliance tracking to ensure quality.
