Description du poste

One platform, a whole world of opportunity

The best jobs have always clustered in a handful of the world's wealthiest cities. But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere.

We\'re proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we\'ve built something the industry keeps noticing:

  • Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista\'s 2026 list of America\'s Top WorkTech Companies

  • Named one of America\'s Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 by Newsweek

  • A G2 Spring 2026 Leader across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance

  • The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023

Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They\'re the same one.

And we\'re just getting started.

The Role

Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster\'s positions are fully remote, and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for this employee and meet business needs, this role requires you to be based within +3/-3 UTC.

As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will help run accurate, timely, and controlled accounts payable operations for external vendors. You will coordinate closely with our invoice-processing BPO, resolve discrepancies, manage AP communications, complete reconciliations and close activities in NetSuite, and partner with Treasury, Accounting, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Beyond daily execution, you will help improve and automate the workflows that support Oyster\'s global financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve AP discrepancies and vendor queries accurately and promptly.

  • Support the BPO in processing invoices completely, accurately, and on time in NetSuite.

  • Ensure AP work complies with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage AP mailboxes and communication channels with clear documentation and tracking.

  • Process vendor\'s invoices in NetSuite.

  • Perform regular AP account reconciliations and investigate exceptions thoroughly.

  • Partner with Treasury and Accounting to support timely, accurate payments.

  • Complete month-end AP close activities.

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant vendor master data.

  • Contribute to cross-functional AP improvement and automation projects.

  • Maintain AP documentation and training materials.

  • Build effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Core Requirements

  • At least three years of professional AP accounting experience, including financial processing and reconciliation.

  • Advanced ERP experience.

  • Advanced Google Sheets and Excel capability, plus proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

  • A track record of high-quality execution in high-growth, high-volume, globally distributed AP environments.

  • Strong written and verbal communication.

  • Demonstrated AP process-improvement and technology-innovation experience.

  • Detail-oriented, structured, and systematic working methods.

  • Self-motivation, initiative, and proactive problem-solving.

Bonus / Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Formal accounting education or a related qualification.

  • Payroll-processing experience.

  • Advanced Netsuite experience.

This might not be right for you if...

  • You prefer narrowly transactional work without process-improvement ownership.

  • You have limited experience on a standard AP process with Purchase Order

  • You are uncomfortable investigating ambiguous discrepancies across several stakeholders.

  • You need close day-to-day direction rather than independently prioritizing work.

  • You have limited experience with high-volume, global AP operations.

You\'ll also need

  • A reliable home internet connection and fluency in both written and spoken English.
