Job summary

Mondi is seeking an Operations Project Manager for its Paper Bags Operations. You will lead cross‑functional digitalisation and continuous improvement initiatives across a global network of plants, partnering with plant teams, IT and operations leaders to translate data into measurable performance gains.

The role combines digital project management with manufacturing excellence, requiring strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and plant operations.
• Experience delivering cross-functional projects from concept through implementation.
• Knowledge of digitalisation and data-driven improvement within manufacturing.
• Experience with KPIs, data analysis, dashboards; SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across countries and functions.
• Willingness to travel internationally 25–50%.
• Lean manufacturing or CI certifications are valuable.

Responsibilities

• Drive Continuous Improvement and operational excellence initiatives across Paper Bags sites.
• Lead digitalisation projects from planning to implementation and follow-up.
• Coordinate Plant of the Future digital initiatives and adoption of new solutions.
• Identify performance improvements and share best practices across the network.
• Analyse KPIs, develop dashboards, and translate data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with plant teams, Operations, IT and international stakeholders.
• Support project budgeting, reporting and knowledge sharing for Paper Bags initiatives.
• Act as Super Key / Deputy Business Process Owner for the DACO platform.
