Job summary

Customs Support Group is seeking an experienced O2C Specialist – Credit Control to own credit control activities for European portfolios. You will manage collections, monitor credit risk, allocate payments, and collaborate with Sales, Operations and Finance to resolve issues in a fast-paced international environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Credit Control or O2C.
• Experience managing collections across portfolios or countries.
• Proficiency in cash application and allocation of incoming payments.
• Advanced English; Dutch considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage collections and credit risk for assigned European country portfolios and key customer accounts.
• Perform daily collection activities via phone, email and credit management systems.
• Monitor aging accounts and prioritize collection activities based on overdue balances and customer risk.
• Match and allocate daily incoming bank payments against open invoices, ensuring accurate cash application.
• Analyze customers’ financial health to support setting and adjusting credit limits.
• Monitor customer credit exposure and ensure compliance with credit limits and policies.
• Manage the credit hold process according to company procedures.
• Agree payment arrangements and document follow-up actions in the system.
• Send standardized payment reminders and monthly customer statements.
• Identify and monitor payment disputes and route for resolution.
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations to resolve disputes.
• Provide information on outstanding receivables and account status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate external debt collection if required.
• Prepare aging analyses and portfolio overviews for Country Managers.
