Job summary

Ventum Offshore is seeking a Global Mobility & Compliance Manager to ensure employees, contractors, and subcontractors can work across borders in full regulatory compliance. You will coordinate mobilization, verify immigration requirements, and manage permits, visas, and registrations.

The role requires 5+ years in global mobility or international employment compliance, strong analytical skills, and advanced English proficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Global Mobility, International Employment Compliance, Workforce Mobility, or related advisory role.
  • Knowledge of postings, immigration, social security coordination, A1 certificates.
  • Understanding of employment law, payroll compliance, and tax aspects of international assignments.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Advanced English (C1) written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate international employee and contractor mobilization processes.
  • Verify right-to-work and immigration requirements across countries.
  • Manage A1 certificates, work permits, visas, and residence permits.
  • Monitor compliance with labor law, posted worker regulations, and social security obligations.
  • Support tax and payroll compliance assessments for mobile personnel.
  • Evaluate compliance risks across engagement models (employment, B2B, civil-law, subcontracting).
  • Develop and maintain compliance checklists and country requirement matrices.
  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, Finance, HSEQ, Project Managers, and external advisors.
  • Support internal and client audits and inspections by authorities.
  • Maintain records related to international assignments and compliance obligations.
  • Monitor regulatory changes affecting global mobility.

Job description

As our international operations continue to grow, we are looking for a Global Mobility & Compliance Manager to help us ensure that employees, contractors, and subcontractors can work across borders in full compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and internal standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate international employee and contractor mobilization processes.
  • Verify right-to-work and immigration requirements across different countries.
  • Coordinate A1 certificates, work permits, visas, residence permits, and local registration processes.
  • Monitor compliance with labor law, posted worker regulations, social security requirements, and employment-related obligations.
  • Support the assessment of tax and payroll compliance requirements for internationally mobile personnel.
  • Evaluate compliance risks related to various engagement models, including employment contracts, B2B arrangements, civil-law contracts, and subcontracting structures.
  • Develop and maintain compliance checklists, country requirement matrices, procedures, and internal guidelines.
  • Work closely with HR, Operations, Finance, HSEQ, Project Managers, and external advisors.
  • Support internal audits, client audits, and inspections conducted by public authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to international assignments, registrations, and compliance obligations.
  • Monitor regulatory changes affecting international workforce mobility and employment compliance.
What we’re looking for
  • At least 5 years of experience in Global Mobility, International Employment Compliance, Workforce Mobility, International HR, or a related advisory role.
  • Practical knowledge of employee postings, international employment regulations, social security coordination, A1 certificates, immigration processes, and workforce compliance.
  • Understanding of employment law, payroll compliance, and tax-related aspects of international assignments.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with external legal, tax, payroll, or immigration providers.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency (minimum C1), both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital documentation tools.
Nice to have
  • Experience supporting technical or project-based workforces.
  • Experience in renewable energy, offshore, construction, engineering, or industrial services sectors.
  • Knowledge of German or a Scandinavian language.
  • Experience working in an international, multi-country environment.
