As our international operations continue to grow, we are looking for a Global Mobility & Compliance Manager to help us ensure that employees, contractors, and subcontractors can work across borders in full compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and internal standards.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate international employee and contractor mobilization processes.
- Verify right-to-work and immigration requirements across different countries.
- Coordinate A1 certificates, work permits, visas, residence permits, and local registration processes.
- Monitor compliance with labor law, posted worker regulations, social security requirements, and employment-related obligations.
- Support the assessment of tax and payroll compliance requirements for internationally mobile personnel.
- Evaluate compliance risks related to various engagement models, including employment contracts, B2B arrangements, civil-law contracts, and subcontracting structures.
- Develop and maintain compliance checklists, country requirement matrices, procedures, and internal guidelines.
- Work closely with HR, Operations, Finance, HSEQ, Project Managers, and external advisors.
- Support internal audits, client audits, and inspections conducted by public authorities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to international assignments, registrations, and compliance obligations.
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting international workforce mobility and employment compliance.
What we’re looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in Global Mobility, International Employment Compliance, Workforce Mobility, International HR, or a related advisory role.
- Practical knowledge of employee postings, international employment regulations, social security coordination, A1 certificates, immigration processes, and workforce compliance.
- Understanding of employment law, payroll compliance, and tax-related aspects of international assignments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with external legal, tax, payroll, or immigration providers.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency (minimum C1), both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital documentation tools.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting technical or project-based workforces.
- Experience in renewable energy, offshore, construction, engineering, or industrial services sectors.
- Knowledge of German or a Scandinavian language.
- Experience working in an international, multi-country environment.
