Job summary

Alcon, in Warsaw, seeks a Global Material Master Data Steward to govern master data and ensure accurate records across the supply chain. This role manages SAP and legacy ERP material data, aligning with global strategy and product lifecycle needs.

The position emphasizes collaboration with a dispersed global team, Excel data handling, and familiarity with automation tools to optimize master data processes in a hybrid, fixed-term setting at Alcon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or science/engineering is required or preferred.
• Experience with data analysis and data analytics is desirable.
• Automation knowledge with VBA/Power Automate/Winshuttle is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English are essential.
• Ability to work in a global, dispersed team.

Responsibilities

• Establish data governance policies and manage Master Data records across the supply chain.
• Maintain Finished Goods and Non-Finished Goods Material Master in SAP and legacy ERP environments.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness, supporting product launches and lifecycle events.
• Center data setup and changes in line with department standards during integrations and deployments.
