Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or science/engineering is required or preferred.
• Experience with data analysis and data analytics is desirable.
• Automation knowledge with VBA/Power Automate/Winshuttle is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English are essential.
• Ability to work in a global, dispersed team.

Responsibilities

• Establish data governance policies and manage Master Data records across the supply chain.
• Maintain Finished Goods and Non-Finished Goods Material Master in SAP and legacy ERP environments.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness, supporting product launches and lifecycle events.
• Center data setup and changes in line with department standards during integrations and deployments.

Global Material Master Data Steward (supply chain / surgical portfolio) - FIXED TERM

Global Material Master Data Steward will be responsible for establishing data governance policies and managing the creation, updating, and maintenance of master data records across the supply chain.

In this role a typical day will include:

• Primary responsibilities consist of conducting Master Data Management (MDM) operations per established global strategy across the Alcon division for assigned Franchise.
• MDM operations will consist of maintaining Finished Goods and Non-Finished Goods Material Master within both SAP system and applicable legacy ERP environments, inclusive of applicable Manufacturing Master Data being activated as part of IRIS Manufacturing deployments.
• Perform Master Data Management daily operations and central governance of ERP Material data to ensure high degree of data accuracy, consistency and completeness.
• The primary focus is to facilitate the Material Master set-up and changes in accordance with department standards and business rules during integration activities, global and regional product launches and all subsequent phases of the product life cycle.

• Experience in a similar position
• SAP Material Master, Excel skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or Science/Engineering. Master’s Degree preferred,
• Experience with Data Analysis and Data Analytics
• Knowledge of automation processes and tools (VBA, Power Automate, Winshuttle) will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills
