Metsä Group is seeking a Material Master Data Junior Specialist to join the Master Data Team in Gdańsk. You will maintain material master data, ensure data quality, and contribute to governance standards in a global context.

The role requires SAP experience, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset. Hybrid work in Poland, with in-office presence required several days per week, and opportunities for growth in a data-driven transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience with master data or data governance is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP environments and data-related processes.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update material master data following governance rules and SAP.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to IT, Sourcing & Logistics, Finance, and Production.
• Perform data quality checks and resolve discrepancies.
• Support standardization of data practices and governance improvements.
• Mentor other Master Data Specialists and share best practices.
• Participate in SAP/HANA-related project work within Metsä Group.
