Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation in Kraków seeks a Master Data Governance & Quality Lead on a three-year fixed-term contract to drive global data governance across domains, partnering with owners, stewards and technology teams. You will establish consistent data ownership, definitions and lifecycle controls in a federated hub-and-spoke model.

You will lead data quality initiatives, define elements and thresholds, and support remediation of issues while enabling strong governance practices across regional

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, master data, data quality and transformation roles.
• Ability to govern data across multiple systems and end-to-end processes.
• Experience defining data elements, business rules and quality measures.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Experience implementing data policies, standards and lifecycle governance.

Responsibilities

• Implement global data governance policies and operating procedures within the domain.
• Maintain clear data definitions, ownership, stewardship, and lifecycle requirements.
• Partner with Data Owners and Data Stewards to resolve cross-functional data issues.
• Define data quality rules, thresholds and scorecards; lead remediation of issues.
• Govern data creation, change, use, retention and retirement for master and reference data.
• Provide guidance to Data Maintenance and system support teams on standards adoption.
• Facilitate governance forums, track actions and risks, escalate decisions as needed.
• Develop training to improve data literacy and governance usage.
