Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Global Marketing and Sales Performance Analyst to deliver financial insights and performance analysis for our global Marketing & Sales Finance team. You will transform data into actionable recommendations to support planning, forecasting, and performance management in a dynamic, international setting.

The role emphasizes partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Finance, building KPI frameworks, and driving process improvements while using Power BI and Microsoft 365 tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• MBA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• 3+ years of FP&A, Commercial Finance, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Marketing & Sales performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for decision-making.
• Prepare regular financial and business performance reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for commercial functions.
• Monitor sales performance, profitability, pricing, and margin development across products, customers, and regions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to provide financial guidance and challenge business assumptions.
• Develop and maintain KPI frameworks to measure performance and objectives.
• Perform variance analyses with explanations of results vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Support business case development and investment evaluations for strategic growth initiatives.
• Leverage Power BI and MS 365 to improve reporting efficiency and transparency.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting models.
