Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Marketing and Sales Performance Analyst to join our Finance team in Krakow. The role will deliver financial insights, performance analysis, and decision support to drive profitable growth across markets and products.

You will transform data into actionable recommendations while partnering with Sales, Marketing and Finance stakeholders. You will help with budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, building KPI frameworks and dashboards to monitor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of FP&A, commercial finance, or business performance experience.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience supporting Sales/Marketing from a financial perspective.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and AI tools proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and CRM (Salesforce) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Marketing & Sales performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for commercial functions.
• Monitor profitability, pricing, and margin across products, customers, regions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to guide decisions.
• Develop KPI frameworks to measure performance and objectives.
• Perform variance analyses and explain results vs budget/forecast.
• Support business case development and strategic growth evaluations.
• Leverage Power BI and Microsoft 365 to improve reporting efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and models.
