Job summary

Worldline is seeking a Team Lead to head one of our Credit Risk Management teams within the Credit Risk department. You will oversee end-to-end credit risk management at merchant and portfolio level, collaborating with Sales, Account Management and Legal. The role is based in Sweden with hybrid work from home and our Stockholm office.

You will drive strategy, enhance risk processes, monitor KPIs, and take final credit decisions. English fluency is required; payment industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional management in 1st/2nd line credit risk.
• Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field.
• Proven project management, data analysis, and reporting capabilities.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Full working proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CoE and manage a team of Credit Risk Experts, driving professionalization of the department.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize the merchant credit risk framework and SOPs across Risk Operations.
• Oversee portfolio monitoring, KPI management, and credit risk data analysis and reporting.
• Manage complex credit escalations and provide final credit decisioning.
• Own credit risk tooling, including budget management and new functional requirements.
