Job summary

Worldline is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Expert to join the Credit Risk Centre of Excellence in Poland. You will manage end-to-end credit risk for merchants and portfolios, collaborating with Sales, Legal and other Risk teams. The role is based in Poland with a hybrid work model from home and our Warsaw office.

You will drive quality standards, develop risk assessment templates, and support risk mitigation across the organization. Fluency in English is required; Polish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Enhanced experience within credit risk management, credit ratings and methodologies.
• Deep understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• At least 5 years of analytical experience with corporate credit risk assessments.
• Result-oriented with ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments.
• Strong sense of responsibility and drive for accuracy and simplicity.
• Excellent communication and presentational skills.
• Negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Self-driven, solution oriented and proactive.
• Excellent command of English; Polish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Update and improve Worldline Credit Risk Standards in collaboration with Group Merchant Risk Management.
• Develop and update credit risk templates for merchants’ financial assessment and exposure estimation.
• Perform periodic internal controls on Credit Risk Management activities.
• Own quality assurance and credit tooling.
• Develop and improve Credit Risk Standard Operating Procedures.
• Contribute to professionalization of the Credit Risk Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Assess new Digital Payment Solutions for credit risk implications and provide guidance per solution.
• Provide guidance to operational risk teams to optimize SOPs.
• Train Credit Risk teams and other departments on Credit Risk standards and SOPs.
