Sandvik Ground Support Division is seeking a Global IT Project Manager to lead international IT and ERP initiatives from initiation through implementation. You will align business and IT, manage budgets and timelines, and collaborate with vendors, stakeholders and cross-functional teams across Europe and beyond.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT/ERP project management, experience with Dynamics 365/Navision/AX and strong English communication.

Are you passionate about delivering complex global IT projects, connecting business and technology, and turning transformation plans into measurable results? At Sandvik Mining Ground Support Division, we’re looking for a Global IT Project Manager to lead international IT and ERP projects from initiation through successful implementation. In this role, you will bring together business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors and project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and with sustainable business outcomes.

Location:

Flexible within Europe (Poland, Sweden), in one of our entities.

What you will be doing:

• Lead global IT and ERP projects from initiation through execution and implementation.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Secure and coordinate internal and external resources, including project teams, technology partners, vendors and suppliers.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues, develop contingency and corrective action plans when needed.
• Lead communication and collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors and leadership.
• Provide clear project updates and facilitate timely decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, resources and budget, ensuring proper governance and stakeholder alignment.
• Monitor project performance against agreed milestones, KPIs, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate change-management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training and user adoption.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, processes, systems and services.
• Support collaboration, accountability and knowledge sharing across multicultural and cross-functional project teams.

What we are looking for:

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least five years of experience in a similar IT or ERP Project Manager role.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Navision, Dynamics AX/365 or other global ERP platforms.
• Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, operations or maintenance.
• Good understanding of end-to-end business processes, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of project-management methodologies and software-development lifecycles, including Agile, Scrum and Waterfall.
• Experience using project-management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control and resource management.
• Knowledge of risk management, quality assurance and project governance.
• Strong stakeholder-management, negotiation and communication abilities across different organizational levels.
• The ability to translate complex technical and business requirements into clear project objectives and deliverables.
• A structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach, combined with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• The ability to work effectively in global, multicultural and cross-functional environments.
• ITIL Foundation certification is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally three to four times per year, for periods of up to two weeks per trip.
