Job summary

Antal Poland is looking for an experienced Category Manager to lead indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment, owning global sourcing strategies across multiple categories.

You will drive end-to-end sourcing, negotiate with suppliers, and build long-term partnerships with cross-functional teams across regions. Hybrid working arrangement and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in strategic procurement or category management for indirect spend.
• Experience in an international business setting with regional/global responsibilities.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global category strategies for indirect spend areas, including maintenance and operational supplies, facility-related services, capital investments, and construction projects.
• Lead sourcing initiatives and supplier selection processes across multiple regions.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities, balancing strategic planning with operational execution.
• Build long‑term partnerships with key suppliers and identify opportunities for value creation and continuous improvement.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and manage supplier contracts to ensure optimal cost, quality, and service levels.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and cost drivers to identify risks and opportunities.
• Partner closely with stakeholders from manufacturing, engineering, technical operations, facilities management, and project teams.
• Support procurement transformation initiatives and contribute to business‑wide cost optimization programs.
• Track procurement performance and prepare regular reports and analyses.
