Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related preferred or 2-3 years of experience as an HR coordinator or similar role
• Two to three years' experience in Human Resources Department preferred
• SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and conflict management skills

Responsibilities

• Schedule and facilitate onboarding for new hires and educate on HR policies
• Handle administrative tasks for new hires and audit data for accuracy
• Maintain employee files and HR records
• Collaborate with external providers (benefits, vendors)
• Investigate employee complaints and grievances
• Take disciplinary action as needed
• Produce HR activity reports
• Assist recruitment with references and background checks
• Administer benefits, compensation and employee performance programs
• Suggest process improvements to HR efficiency
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
• Advise employees on absence, health, and organizational changes
• Oversee payroll processing and attendance tracking
• Assist in maintaining employee handbook and org charts
