Job summary

Tenchijin Inc. is seeking an HR Manager for the Global South Project, an 18‑month, fully remote contract engagement with a distributed international team. English and Japanese bilingual fluency is strictly required.

You will own full lifecycle recruitment, draft and manage contractor agreements, ensure multi‑jurisdictional compliance, coordinate onboarding, and report hiring metrics to project leadership across borders, from Tokyo HQ to the global contractor base.

Qualifications

• Lead full lifecycle recruitment for global projects.
• Draft and manage contractor agreements and renewals.
• Ensure multi‑jurisdictional compliance and IP confidentiality.
• Design global onboarding workflows for distributed teams.
• Track recruitment metrics and report to leadership.
• Serve as bridge between Japanese HQ and English-speaking contractors.
• Proficient in English and Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Recruit across borders for 18-month Global South project.
• Negotiate contractor terms and manage renewals.
• Ensure tax, IP, confidentiality clauses across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate onboarding and access provisioning.
• Monitor time-to-fill and pipeline velocity.
• Maintain contractor records for audits.
• Liaise between HQ and contractor teams.
