Job summary

Ascensia Diabetes Care in Warsaw is seeking a GL Accountant to support European operations and the Epredia project. The role covers month-end close, reconciliations, VAT/Intrastat, and close processes across multiple entities in the EMEA region.

You will work in a hybrid setup (2 days in office) with a focus on accurate GL accounting, collaboration with finance colleagues, and driving process improvements. Fluency in English and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on General Ledger accounting experience.
• Fluent English in written and spoken form.
• Experience with ERP systems in a finance environment.
• Strong Excel skills with financial data.
• Analytical and proactive problem-solving approach.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and VAT/Intrastat reporting.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and financial accuracy across EMEA.
• Handle day-to-day GL activities including journal entries and fixed assets.
