Job summary

Ascensia Diabetes Care Poland is seeking a GL Accountant to support European GL processes, close cycles, VAT and Intrastat reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations in a hybrid Warsaw role. You will interact with stakeholders across the business and drive improvements in a collaborative finance team.

The role requires 2+ years in GL accounting, a Finance/Accounting degree, and fluent English. SAP and ERP experience are advantageous; a strong Excel skill set is essential for handling financial

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Manage day-to-day GL activities: bank accounting, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets.
• Prepare VAT and Intrastat reports; ensure regulatory compliance across EMEA.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Finance and the business; drive process improvements.
