Job summary

Hach, a Veralto company, seeks a GL Accountant in Wroclaw for a hybrid role within our European accounting team. You will manage month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations while preparing statutory financial statements and local GAAP adjustments.

You will collaborate with HR/payroll, support audits, and participate in the Oracle ERP upgrade (Oracle Fusion) planned for 2027. This role offers growth in a global matrix environment and opportunities to develop your accounting expertise.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA) with up-to-date credentials.
• Experience with Local and US GAAP accounting ledgers.
• Strong MS Excel skills and data analysis.
• Fluent English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate accounting.
• Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled with supporting docs.
• Assist with internal and external audits and tax filings.
• Prepare statutory financial statements including local GAAP adjustments.
• Collaborate with HR and payroll for timely payroll entries.
• Prepare VAT, VIES, Intrastat and Statistical returns.
