Job summary

Woodward seeks an experienced Global Finance Shared Services Director to consolidate regional finance activities into a centralized, scalable hub. You will lead multi-regional migrations, overhaul end-to-end transactional finance operations, and drive improvements in cash flow and efficiency.

You will establish global KPIs, standardize processes, and guide digital transformations with OCR and AI tools while ensuring SOX compliance and audit readiness. Travel to sites may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 7–10 years in shared services; at least 5 in senior leadership.
• Proven experience leading global shared services consolidations and multi-entity migrations.
• Deep expertise in P2P and O2C operations.
• Experience managing multi-currency global finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of process automation and KPI/SLA management.
• Fluent English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute the global strategy to migrate regional and decentralized finance operations into a centralized shared services hub.
• Lead multi-regional migrations, service transitions, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Oversee end-to-end transactional finance operations including AP, AR, Billing, Credit, Cash Application.
• Drive improvements in DSO, DPO, free cash flow, and operational efficiency.
• Establish and monitor global KPIs and SLAs across regions and time zones.
• Standardize global processes, policies, and ways of working across multi-entity operations.
• Lead digital transformation using OCR, automation, AI tools to reduce manual work.
• Maintain SOX compliance and audit readiness, and coordinate with auditors.
• Lead change management and stakeholder engagement for centralized SSC model.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing SSC team.
