01 & 04 Woodward, Inc. is seeking an experienced Global Finance Shared Services Director to lead, modernize, and scale our worldwide finance shared services operations.

This executive role drives strategic consolidation into a single global hub, standardizing processes across regions and currencies while building a high-performing team. You will oversee core transactional finance activities (AP, AR, Billing, Cash Application) and lead digital transformation initiatives to improve DSO, DPO, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive shared services and/or accounting experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within Shared Services.
• Proven experience leading global shared services consolidations and multi-entity migrations.
• Strong knowledge of P2P and O2C operations.
• Experience scaling multi-currency, multi-entity finance operations.
• Experience with process automation and KPI/SLA management.
• Knowledge of internal controls, SOX compliance, and risk management.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.
• Excellent communication in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute the global strategy to migrate regional and decentralized finance operations into a centralized shared services hub.
• Lead multi-regional migrations, service transitions, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Oversee end-to-end transactional finance operations (AP, AR, Billing, Cash Application).
• Drive performance across P2P and O2C, improving DSO, DPO, and cash flow.
• Establish and monitor global KPIs and SLAs across regions and time zones.
• Standardize processes across multi-entity, multi-currency operations.
• Lead digital transformation with OCR, automation, AI to reduce manual work.
• Maintain SOX compliance and audit readiness; coordinate with auditors.
• Lead change management and stakeholder engagement for centralized model.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing shared services organization.
