Job summary

Woodward Inc. seeks a Senior Director of Global Finance Shared Services to lead the consolidation of regional finance activities into a centralized hub.

You will manage end-to-end transactional finance, drive P2P and O2C performance, and establish global KPIs across regions and time zones. You will oversee SOX compliance, digital transformation, and a strong control environment while recruiting and developing a high-performing, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive shared services and/or accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a Shared Services environment.
• Proven experience leading global shared services consolidations and multi-entity migrations.
• Deep expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations.
• Experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency global finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA).
• Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute the global strategy to migrate regional finance operations into a centralized shared services hub.
• Lead multi-regional migrations, service transitions, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Oversee end-to-end transactional finance operations (AP, AR, Billing, Credit, Cash Application).
• Drive performance across P2P and O2C and improve DSO, DPO, and cash flow.
• Establish global KPIs and SLAs across regions and time zones.
• Standardize processes, policies, and ways of working across multi-entity operations.
• Lead digital transformation and automation to reduce manual work.
• Maintain internal controls and audit readiness; manage risks.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team; foster accountability and collaboration.
