Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks an On‑Site Technician to travel to processing sites worldwide, aligning machines to hundredths of a millimeter and performing turning, milling, grinding, and drilling to exact tolerances. You will coordinate with managers and specialist departments to communicate progress, disruptions, and improvements.

In this role you will work with CNC machinery, Siemens 840D sl control, and SINUMERIK Operate while supporting global assembly assignments and ensuring high-quality service

Qualifications

• Trained in turning, milling, grinding and drilling.
• Experience guiding and setting up medium-sized CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Willingness to travel for worldwide assembly assignments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service calls to eliminate faults.
• Perform high-quality machining according to drawings and test sequences.
• Repairs or modifications to power generation components using mobile and fixed CNC machines.
• Document dimensional, positional, shape and surface tolerances.
