Job summary

FieldCore, a GE Vernova company, is seeking a Turbine Mechanic in Poland to install, maintain and repair heavy rotating machinery used in power generation.

You will read blueprints, apply alignment techniques with laser or traditional methods, and perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on turbines, pumps, motors and related equipment.

Willingness to travel, work holidays/overtime, and fluency in English are required; German skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to align rotating equipment using laser or traditional methods.
• Experience maintaining and repairing heavy rotating machinery used in power generation.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, schematics and documentation to determine procedures.
• Install machinery and equipment per plans in industrial settings.
• Dismantle, assemble and align machinery using hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on power tools and equipment.
• Align machinery using laser or traditional methods, using precision tools.
